Mission

The Office of Planning & Assessment enhances the student learning experience through ongoing division development and data-driven decision making. The office supports the Division of Student Affairs’ vision by promoting a culture of intentional planning and assessment at every department and program level.

How we can help

The Office of Planning & Assessment supports all Student Affairs departments in strengthening program assessment, using data to improve the student experience and telling their story. Our team can assist you with:

  • Strategic and annual planning: refining goals and success measures
  • Assessment support: developing learning outcomes, designing assessment tools(surveys, focus groups etc.) and building meaningful assessment plans
  • Program review guidance: navigating the five-year program review process and turning findings into action plans
  • Data-informed decision making: interpreting results, partnering with stakeholders and creating reports
  • Professional development: offering workshops and resources that build assessment and other skills across the division
