Student rock climbing at university recreation

Recreational Sports

The Department of Recreational Sports is proud to house over 100 unique selectorized, free weight and cardiovascular machines within the Joe Frank Sanderson Center.  The facility caters to over 2,000 patrons in the area of fitness per day and over 20,000 patrons over the span of a month.  With the age and heavy utilization of the fitness equipment, along with an ever-growing student enrollment, each unit holds a shorter life span and requires consistently rotating in new equipment.

The Department of Recreational Sports is appreciative of any contributions towards keeping the highest standard and quality of fitness equipment in order to continually accommodate a growing and diverse student population along with ever-changing trends in the fitness industry.
